Within this specialization, you will be exposed to many different programming languages and become fluent in the latest techniques and software related to programming and database design, creation, and maintenance. While completing the Software Development and Database Administration option, you will take courses that will get you creating desktop and web applications, building databases from the ground up, and will dive into security topics as well as other option-related IT courses.
This specialization is very much, “learning by doing.” During this 18-month program, you will spend around 80% of your time working on projects and will gain real-world experience during your 240-hour internship. Job opportunities are waiting for you as a software developer, computer programmer, and database administrator to only name a few.
