Lake Area Technical College Offers First Native Entrepreneur Academy

WATERTOWN, SD – Lake Area Technical College in Watertown will host its first Native Entrepreneur Academy for Native American high school students in grades 10-12 and LATI students on Thursday, September 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lake Area Technical College. The Academy is an opportunity for students to explore and experience first-hand how to become an entrepreneur. Students will hear from successful Native American entrepreneurs about how to create and run with a business idea.

The day will incorporate speakers, exhibits, and educational opportunities that will be part of the necessary tools needed to successfully jump start an entrepreneurial concept.
