RV Technician

Job Description         

SCHAAP’S TRAVEALND in Sioux Falls, SD is a family-owned business, that has been around for over 60 years. We continue to grow our customer base and are looking for someone full time to join our service team, as an RV technician, to help keep up with our growing demand.   Our summer hours are 8:30am to 5:30am Monday through Friday, with limited Saturdays. Salary is based on experience with an hourly wage plus commission, with year around work. On the job training will occur based on individual’s experience.

Job Duties

Diagnose and repair RV components

Do preliminary inspections and customer orientation

Installation of RV accessories, hitches, brake control, and wiring

Provide best-in class customer service

Communicate effectively with Service Advisor and Service Manager

Preferred Skills

RV Experience preferred but not mandatory

Experience in one or more of the following fields: Electrical, plumbing, appliances or hvac. 

Able to work in a team setting, with good written and oral communication skills

Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
