This position will provide physical therapy services for patients in acute care, swing bed, long-term care, home health, outpatient and contractual areas.
 
This is a PRN (relief) position.
 
Responsibilities include:
Provides physical therapy treatment that follows an established plan of care and is age, educational level and culturally appropriate to the patient/family.
Provides physical therapy services in accordance with the state practice act.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in the provision of physical therapy services.
Completes timely and appropriate documentation that reflects care provided and follows regulatory requirements.
Establishes appropriate charges for services rendered.
Assists with coordination of patient care schedules to meet productivity standards.
Ensures equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Participates in departmental quality and outcome studies.
Serves a clinical instructor for PTA students and high school students.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an associate degree.
Previous experience with physical therapy preferred.
Holds or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
CPR certification per policy.
