Job Summary

This position will perform maintenance duties for the upkeep of the physical plant.

Responsibilities include:

·        Performs preventive maintenance on equipment, structure, and building systems.

·        Performs repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration components and systems.

·        Makes security rounds as appropriate.

·        Performs grounds keeping and snow removal tasks.

·        Follows safety and infection control practices in the execution of duties.

·        Participates in hospital wide functions such as fire response, emergency management, etc.

·        Performs construction tasks as assigned.

·        Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two years technical experience preferred.

A valid South Dakota driver’s license.
