The full-time and part-time position will assist with the planning and evaluating of Hemodialysis services and provides nursing care for dialysis patients in accordance with established standards, policies, licensure, and scope of practice.
Responsibilities include:
Assists with training of new staff members.
Participates in department CQI program ensuring staff participation in the process and identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes, includes daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
Operates and monitors water system.
Completes annual competency skill testing.
Receives, transcribes, and communicates physician orders.
Observes and assesses patient, records significant conditions and reactions to drugs and treatments, and notifies supervisor.

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in an approved Registered Nurse program. Minimum of one-year experience in a medical/surgical unit is preferred.
Holds or is eligible for current license in South Dakota and Minnesota.
