L&C Energy Services Corp is a family orientated company located in Western North Dakota.  We value our employees and are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team.  This position is ideal for someone who wants to learn and grow with us.  We will provide on-the-job training, starting as a rigger to gain a solid understanding of the appropriate set up of the lifting equipment and hand signals prior to advancing to the operation of the cranes.  Further, we will assist with obtaining a CDL (if needed) as well as, the NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification.

Rigger Responsibilities

• Attaches and detaches load from the crane’s lifting equipment

• Selection of proper lifting equipment

• Initiating and directing safe movement of the crane

Crane Operator Responsibilities

• Operate the crane in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Operate the crane within the safe limits

Required Attributes:

·        At least 18 years of age

·        Have a CDL or ability to obtain a CDL

·        Physically fit to operate the crane, with regard to eyesight, hearing and reflexes

·        Pass a DOT physical to obtain or maintain a CDL

·        Pass a written examination (NCCCO)

·        Understand and be able to use a load chart as well as calculate loads for the crane

·        Able to judge distances, heights, and clearances

·        Know signaling system used by the rigger
