Lake Area Tech welcomed Wendy as its Educare Director in July 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Teaching Certificate from SDSU and DSU. Wendy brings a vast amount of experience to the Educare Center including eight years at KidShift Child Care Center as a preschool teacher working with children ages infant – school age and then as Assistant Director. She also was a state-licensed in-home daycare provider for 11 years. Wendy and her husband live in Watertown with their six children ranging in age from pre-school to high school. In her free time, she loves being outside going on bike rides, swimming, and watching the boys play soccer.
