Jenny Wilen
We’re always happy when alumni join our team! Lake Area Tech’s Nursing Department welcomed Jenny to its faculty in August 2020 as a nursing instructor. She began her career at Lake Area Tech where she earned an LPN degree in 2011 and an RN degree through the USD distance program in 2012. She then went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree through USD in 2018. For the last eight years, she has worked at Prairie Lakes Hospital on the Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics floor and she also taught Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and other various classes while there. For the last two years, she’s been a nursing adjunct clinical instructor for Lake Area Tech. Jenny was born and raised in Watertown. She likes to read, garden, bike, and spend time outdoors. She is excited to teach students full-time at Lake Area Tech as it continues to grow and expand.
