Lake Area Tech welcomed Evan to the team in November 2023 as an adjunct Law Enforcement instructor. He is a graduate of Mount Marty University with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. His experience includes working at the Watertown Police Department for 13 years (the last five as a sergeant) and for the last three years he has been employed with the South Dakota Highway Patrol as a trooper stationed in Watertown. Evan is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding ATVs or anything else outdoors. He also likes watching football and baseball. He was born and raised in Watertown.
