Lake Area Tech welcomed back Carter in July 2023 as the Department Supervisor/Instructor for the Professional Fixed-Wing Pilot program. He was a Certified Flight Instructor for the program in 2021-22. Carter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Education from South Dakota State University in 2020. He’s been a flight instructor for four years and has flown both 135 Charter and Medevac. In his free time, Carter enjoys golfing, canoeing/kayaking, playing guitar and piano, and flying.
