April Simon

Lake Area Tech welcomed April in June 2023 as the Administrative Assistant for Admissions and Marketing. She is a recent graduate of Lake Area Tech, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business/Marketing & Management option. Through high school and college, April held many positions, some including management positions, that gave her great experience in customer service, creating an eye for detail, and learning the importance of a positive attitude in the workplace.

April is originally from Hoven, South Dakota. She has four siblings, two older sisters Abby and Autumn, two younger brothers Grant and Garret, and two brothers-in-law, Daniel and Nick. Fun Fact…all five of the Simon Siblings (including her brother-in-law Nick) have attended or are currently attending Lake Area Technical College.

In her free time, April enjoys traveling, shopping, being outdoors (especially in the summertime), and spending time with friends and family.
