Amber joined the team at Lake Area Technical College in January 2022 as a Computer Information Systems instructor. Having graduated from LATC’s CIS program with options in Computer Programming and Graphic Design, she brings a diverse skill set to her role. With a strong background in web design and a keen eye for aesthetics, she contributes to the team nicely. Outside of teaching, Amber runs her own freelance business, where she works with local businesses on web and social media strategy. She is also a junior floral designer at Hy-Vee, a role that allows her to continue her creativity through a different medium. Originally from Kansas City, Amber has an appreciation for the arts, history, and travel, and enjoys discovering new experiences, often centered around good food and great company.
