Lake Area Tech ButlerMAX Diesel Program Earns Accreditation

WATERTOWN, SD – Lake Area Technical College’s ButlerMAX Diesel Technology program recently attained Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) Foundation accreditation. The accreditation signifies the program has met rigorous agricultural equipment technical standards and is an indicator that the program offers superior hands-on diesel equipment education.

Diesel Program Supervisor Corey Mushitz commented, “This accreditation is a significant measure of success for Lake Area Tech ButlerMAX Diesel graduates and was a collaborative effort by our students, instructors, administrators, and our valuable industry partners.”

The AED Foundation (AEDF) is the non-profit foundation for the Heavy Equipment industry and is the sister organization to Associated Equipment Distributors, the international trade association for equipment distributors, manufacturers, and service providers.
