Special Screening with Director Slated for March 30 in Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D. – South Dakota filmmaker Andrew Kightlinger will visit Watertown on Monday, March 30 for a special film screening and Q&A session at the Odyssey 8 Theater.
The event will feature a screening of Lost on a Mountain in Maine, followed by an interactive Q&A with Kightlinger. Attendees will gain insight into his creative process, career path and experiences working in the film industry.
The event is open to the public, with general admission tickets available for $5. Lake Area Technical College students will be admitted free with a valid student ID. Students can also take advantage of concession specials.
Kightlinger, an award-winning writer and director with South Dakota roots, has earned national recognition for his storytelling and visual style. Lost on a Mountain in Maine has reached wide audiences and highlights his ability to bring compelling, real-world stories to the screen.
“This is an amazing opportunity for our students and community to connect with a filmmaker who has South Dakota roots and is doing outstanding work in the film industry,” said Lake Area Tech Vice President Cameron Corey. “We’re excited to bring this experience to Watertown.”
