Natural Resources Management
The Natural Resources Management program at Lake Area Tech prepares you to test, monitor, and evaluate the condition of natural systems. This is hands-on work focused on understanding what’s actually present in water, soil, air, and fuel, and whether it meets required standards.
Students train using current testing and monitoring technology, learning proper sampling methods, data collection, and record-keeping. Much of the work happens in the field and in the lab, where you’ll apply what you learn through real projects and environmental testing scenarios.
Graduates are prepared for roles with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as agriculture, research, and alternative fuel operations. The program also provides a foundation for transfer into four-year natural resources programs.
