Lake Area Technical College’s Social Work Associate program was developed with direct input from practicing social workers and community partners. The curriculum is aligned with the South Dakota Board of Social Work requirements, preparing graduates to sit for the associate-level social work licensing exam. Students graduate with the foundational knowledge, ethics training, and practical skills needed for entry-level social work careers.
What types of hands-on experience will I get in the Social Work program?
