Phlebotomy Certificate

Lake Area Tech’s Phlebotomy certificate prepares you to safely and accurately collect blood samples in clinical settings. You’ll build foundational skills in blood collection techniques, safety procedures, and patient communication—ensuring both accuracy and comfort during the process.

The program includes a 120-hour practicum in a hospital or clinic lab, giving you real-world experience working with patients and healthcare teams. This two-semester, 16.5-credit certificate is offered in both on-campus and hybrid formats, with start times in the fall and spring semesters.
