First Year Nursing (LPN): 44.5 Credits (12.5 credits in General Education and 32 credits in Technical Education or Nursing)
Second Year Nursing (RN): 41 Credits (18 credits in General Education and 23 credits in Nursing) Total: 85 Credits (30.5 credits in General Education and 55.5 credits in Nursing)
If a student transfers from another LPN program, they must have a current nursing license. Upon proof of their license, 20 credits will be granted for the first year of nursing. An additional 18 credits in general education and 23 credits in nursing will be needed to meet graduation requirements for the RN degree.
If a student does not successfully complete one the following courses: RN 206, RN 227, RN 230, RN 240, RN 236, RN 228 or RN 242, the student will be required to complete RN 245 – RN Skills Remediation before advancing in the Registered Nursing Program.
