Disability Services
Lake Area Tech is committed to making sure every student has access to the full college experience.
If you have a documented learning, physical, or psychological disability, you may be eligible for accommodations that support your academic success. These services are provided in accordance with federal law, including Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The goal is simple: give you the support you need to fully participate, advocate for yourself, and move toward your goals.
Getting Started
You’re not required to disclose a disability when you apply.
If you decide you want support, you can begin the process once you’re admitted. When you’re ready, reach out to start the conversation.

Jenna is located in the library and is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Justus is located in room 211 and is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

You can contact Academic Support Services directly or request a referral. And if you’re not ready right away, that’s okay, you can request accommodations at any point during your time here.

If you don’t have current documentation, the Accessibility Services Coordinator can help guide you through next steps, including how to obtain an evaluation if needed.
Review & Interaction Process
Once your information is submitted, you’ll meet with the Accessibility Services Coordinator to talk through your needs and determine appropriate accommodations.
