Finding Housing in Watertown
All Lake Area Tech students live off-campus. The college does not own or provide student housing. As a service, housing information submitted by local landlords is posted on this website. These listings are not screened, visited, or approved by Lake Area Tech. It is the student’s responsibility to inspect the unit and communicate with the landlord to ensure it meets acceptable standards.
Student housing options vary and may include apartments, mobile homes, houses, or rooms in private residences. It is recommended that students schedule appointments with landlords before arriving in Watertown, as many are difficult to reach during the day. Most landlords require a deposit to hold a rental.
Some Lake Area Tech programs include internships or fieldwork that may shorten your time in Watertown. Consider this when signing a lease.
