2027 Commencement Ceremony

Celebrate your achievement at the Lake Area Tech Commencement Ceremony. Find everything you need to prepare for graduation, including ceremony schedules, ticket information, rehearsal details, livestream access and important deadlines.

Tickets

Due to limited seating, the ceremony is ticketed.

  • Each graduate receives up to 6 free tickets
  • Additional tickets may be requested if available
  • Unclaimed tickets will be redistributed the day before the ceremony
  • Tickets must be ordered through MyPortal → Graduation tab
  • Tickets will be distributed through your program the day before graduation
  • All attendees, including children, must have a ticket

Graduation Invitations

Graduates creating their own invitations can request the official Lake Area Tech logo through the STAX Bookstore. The logo must follow brand guidelines and may not be altered.

Photography

Professional individual photography is not provided.

Graduates often take photos before the ceremony in the arena lobby, where a Lake Area Tech backdrop will be available. Family and friends may take photos during and after the ceremony.

Lake Area Tech staff and Photo/Media students will capture event photos and share them on official social channels.

Livestream

The ceremony will be livestreamed on Lake Area Tech’s YouTube channel and shared on Facebook for those unable to attend in person.

Diplomas

Graduates will receive a diploma cover on stage.

Official diplomas will be mailed after all requirements and grades are finalized:

  • Mid-summer for spring graduates
  • Late August for July completers

Diplomas will not be released if there are outstanding financial obligations.
