Lake Area Technical College Recognizes Student Ambassadors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WATERTOWN, S.D. – Student ambassadors at Lake Area Technical College have provided exceptional support to the admissions team throughout the academic year, assisting with events and helping create a welcoming experience for prospective students and their families.
Selected by their instructors, the ambassadors represent academic programs across campus and assist with activities ranging from individual campus visits to large recruitment events. Their efforts help ensure events run smoothly while giving visitors an authentic look at student life.
“This year’s group has truly stood out,” said April Simon, lead admissions representative at Lake Area Technical College. “They are always willing to help, consistently bring great attitudes and go above and beyond whenever they are needed. I am extremely grateful for their dedication and proud to work with such a great group of students.”
Ambassadors connect with prospective students by sharing their personal experiences in their programs and on campus. Their approach helps visitors better understand academic expectations, campus culture and available opportunities.
