Lake Area Tech to Host Final Junior Tech Day on April 15

WATERTOWN, S.D. — Lake Area Technical College will host its final Junior Tech Day of the school year on Wednesday, April 15, in Watertown. The daylong event provides high school juniors with a hands-on introduction to career pathways and campus life.
During the event, students will attend classes, participate in interactive labs and connect with instructors. They will also learn about admissions, financial aid, housing and post-graduation opportunities.
Parents, guardians and teachers are also encouraged to attend and explore the college’s programs, support services and overall student experience.
Registered students will receive a personalized schedule prior to the event, allowing them to explore programs aligned with their interests and gain a realistic preview of technical education and in-demand careers at Lake Area Tech.
The event will also feature scholarship giveaways, prizes and free pizza.
