Lake Area Tech’s Grad Fest Moves Indoors
WATERTOWN – Lake Area Technical College is moving its 2025 Grad Fest inside, but event organizers say the excitement will continue as planned.
Grad Fest 2025 will kick off at 3 p.m. Thursday with a student-led parade from McKinley Park to the Lake Area Tech campus. Vice President Cam Corey confirmed the parade will proceed as planned, winding its way through downtown Watertown before arriving at Lake Area Tech’s campus.
Once on campus, the celebration will move inside to the LATC Student Center’s large, Fourth Floor Event Center and Market 65.
“True to Lake Area Tech spirit, we’re rolling with the changes and moving the event inside,” Corey said. “We’re grateful for the chance to celebrate together and even more thankful for the much-needed rain. It’s going to be epic!”
Indoor activities will begin around 4 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a variety of fun activities including a dunk tank, mechanical bull, and carnival style games that were designed and built by Lake Area Tech students. Food will also be available for purchase.
The evening’s headline event is a free concert by the legendary Johnny Holm Band. Music will begin at 5 p.m. and continue through 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
