Project Estimator/Construction Project Manager

A Project Estimator/Construction Project Manager oversees all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to final delivery. This role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Project Estimator/Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading teams, managing resources, and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

·       Project Planning and Scheduling: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders. Forecast resources and allocate labor, equipment, and materials accordingly

·       Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates and budgets. Monitor project spending and ensure costs remain within budget. Approve invoices, track financial performance, and report variances.

·       Team Coordination and Leadership: Hire, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors and labor crews. Lead project meetings and provide direction to team members.

·       Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards, codes, and specifications. Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed.

·       Risk and Issue Management: Troubleshoot and resolve conflicts or delays in the construction process.

·       Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between clients, consultants, and contractors.

·       Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders through reports and meetings.

·       Manage expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

·       Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.

·       Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety standards.

·       Close out projects with final inspections, punch lists, and project handover.
