Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and refinishing damaged vehicle bodies to manufacturer and safety standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and welding Sand, prime, and prepare surfaces for painting Match and apply paint finishes to ensure seamless repairs Use hand tools, power tools, and frame-straightening equipment safely and effectively Follow manufacturer specifications and shop repair procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate with service advisors or supervisors regarding repair progress and issues Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or Collision Repair Technician Knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and materials Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and work orders Strong attention to detail and time-management skills Valid driver’s license ASE or I-CAR certification (preferred but not required) Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in various positions for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Benefits (if applicable): Competitive pay based on experience Health, insurance Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and certification opportunities Work Environment: Fast-paced automotive repair shop Exposure to noise, chemicals, an
