Job Description
Are you a tech enthusiast eager to gain real-world IT experience? Join us as an IT Support Intern at Showplace Cabinetry. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced IT professionals to provide essential support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This internship is an excellent opportunity for college students finishing their first or second year who want to apply classroom knowledge to practical situations and build a strong foundation in IT support.

Key Responsibilities
User Assistance

Assist end-users with technical issues via phone, email, and in person.
Troubleshoot Windows 11, iPads, Android handheld barcode scanners, Kyocera printers, and internally developed applications.
Collaborative Support

Work closely with IT team members to resolve user concerns across multiple locations.
Provide both remote and on-site support, gaining exposure to diverse IT challenges.
Documentation

Record support interactions, resolutions, and recurring issues.
Contribute to updating user guides and standard operating procedures.
Application Insight

Assist with internally developed applications, escalating complex issues to the development team.
Learn application workflows and ensure positive user experiences.
Device Management

Support the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of mobile devices (iPads and Android barcode scanners).
Participate in device deployment activities.
Printer Support

Learn how to handle printer inquiries and assist with troubleshooting and maintenance for Kyocera printers.
Collaborate with team members and vendors on issue resolution.
Training Opportunities

Participate in IT training sessions to expand your technical skills.
Help create user-friendly documentation and training materials.
Team Collaboration

Work collaboratively within the IT team, sharing ideas and contributing to team efficiency.
Assist with projects and tasks that support overall IT operations.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Windows 11, iOS, and Android systems, with an eagerness to learn more.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
