Precision Ag intern

Summary:  The Precision Ag intern will assist New Vision Agronomy Sales employees with creating precision maps, yield maps and reports. Assists sales team in compiling producer programs including soil testing, field mapping, product recommendations, field monitoring as needed, recordkeeping, and follow-up calls. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  · Participate in creating precision maps, yield maps and reports.

· Assist New Vision Agronomy Sales team with promotion of Precision Ag and other Agronomy products.

· Assist with operating drone and GPS technology.

· Assist the sales team in compiling farmer/customer programs that include soil testing, field mapping, product recommendations, timely and accurate application, field monitoring as needed, record keeping, and follow-up calls.

· Assist in collecting soil sample results and assists with analysis.

· Partner with customers in analyzing and processing Precision Ag data.

· Prepares reports as requested.

· Make deliveries to customers as needed.

· Support Agronomy and grain operations as needed. 

 Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Some post-secondary education in Animal Science, Nutrition or other Ag related degree preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be self-motivated and able to work as a team member.
Valid driver’s license.
