Reports to: Energy Manager
Summary: Responsible for driving a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. Other duties may be assigned throughout the cooperative during off peak season.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees always.
Provides outstanding and courteous customer service.
Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
Requires on call/after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or responses.
Comply with safety and security policies and participate in safety training.
Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments with location personnel.
Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations.
Complete all reports as required by the Energy Manager.
Resolves routine energy operation problems.
Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements.
Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
Accept additional responsibilities and duties as directed by the Energy Manager.
Read and follow FCA employee polices.
Notify Energy Manager of unsafe working conditions or equipment.
Communicates company policy and safety protocols.
Relay employee, maintenance, and inventory concerns to Energy Manager.
Notify Energy Manager of breakdowns, equipment repair, replacement, or upgrades.
Notify Energy Manager of any energy standard or New Vision policy violations.
Immediately notify Energy Manager of unscheduled regulatory visitors.
Communicate the information necessary to co-workers to perform tasks according to their job requirements, maintain location efficiency and maintain a safe working environment.
Ask Energy Manager for information or instructions when needed.
Inform Energy Manager of suggestions to improve safety, operating efficiency or increase business.
Immediately report any work-related injury, property damage or theft to the, human resources, Energy Manager or Chief Operating Officer.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Possess the ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Hazmat endorsement and CDL license or the ability to obtain. Will train the right individual. Valid driver’s license. Meet all DOT requirements. Able to obtain any other necessary documents or endorsements as required. Clean driving record.
