Grain Operations

Responsible for loading/unloading trucks & railcars, maintenance on equipment, conducting test on grain quality and assisting in agronomy operations at locations within the cooperative.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees always
• Provides outstanding and courteous customer service
• Comply with safety and security policies and participate in safety training
• Responsible for daily maintenance, cleanliness & compliance with state & federal regulations of equipment & facilities
• Responsible for the sanitation of the entire grain elevator according to the sanitation checklist
• Attend continuing education courses to maintain a quality level of knowledge for the products, regulations, and customer relations
• Be able to communicate in a professional manner to the customer, co-workers, and management
• Complete all responsibilities as required by grain division manager
• Resolves routine grain operation/agronomy problems
• Inspect the operation of the grain cleaning & handling equipment
• Assist in arranging for transportation & storage of grain
• Maintain accurate documentation as required for housekeeping, maintenance, and safety
• Machinery maintenance
• Deliver chemicals & fertilizer to custom applicators during Spring season
• Accept additional responsibilities and duties as directed by the Location Manager, COO, or Chief Executive Officer
