Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment / Fleet Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment and fleet vehicles to ensure safe, efficient, and dependable operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a shop and field environment.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and completing repairs both in the shop and at active job sites. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to job sites as needed, using diagnostic equipment and tools safely, and assisting with complex repairs alongside other mechanics. Regular attendance, flexibility with overtime or overnight travel when required, and a strong commitment to safety are essential.

A CDL is preferred, or the ability to obtain one is required. We are willing to assist the right individual in obtaining their CDL, if applicable.

Work is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled shop, with occasional outdoor service calls in varying weather conditions. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided.
