Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team full-time. This position offers variable 12-hour shifts 3 times per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay differentials for nights/weekends included.
***$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS***
Key Responsibilities:
Perform timely and accurate patient assessments and documentation.
Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently.
Supervise and assist nursing assistants.
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Participate in patient care planning and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Current SD Registered Nurse licensure required.
New nurses encouraged to apply.
Experience in acute patient care/swingbed/emergency room is preferred, not required.
Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts with frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
Work Environment:
Indoor, safety-sensitive, requiring physical presence on-site.
