Internship- Summer 2026

DemKota Ranch Beef is offering a paid, hands-on internship opportunity in a modern beef packaging plant with a capacity to process 1,500 head per day. Students in our intern program will learn the in’s and out’s of beef processing, industry standards, and operations while working specifically in one department on a special project.

Interns will be expected to present their project findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the management team.

Position will work Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week – Hours of work depending upon department.

Majors Encouraged to Apply:

Operations: Animal Science, Meat Science, Food Science, Operations Management majors.

Quality Assurance: Animal Science, Meat Science, Dairy & Food Science, Microbiology majors.

Engineering/Maintenance/Safety: Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Ag & Biosystems Engineering, Environmental Science majors.

Information Technology: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administrator.

Ag Marketing/Finance: Ag Education, Ag Communications, Accounting, Finance, Ag Business
