Job Overview
We are seeking a Machine Operator candidate that is a strong Core Value fit. This person will be responsible for setting up and running various machines and intricate Granite Mausoleum and Columbarium Buildings. Machine Operator / Assembly Job Description:
- Set up and Program multiple machines to accurately produce a range of products.
- Load and unload raw materials and equipment
- Assist with assembly of our Mausoleum & Columbarium Buildings
- Monitor machines as they run and make adjustments for optimal production.
- Perform basic pre-shift inspection maintenance and upkeep on equipment and area.
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required quality and specifications.
- Identify and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
- Abide by company safety guidelines and meet project deadlines Machine Operator / Assembly Desired Attribute/Skills:
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to learn programming
- Carpentry or other similar assembly skills
- Able to gain knowledge and skill in reading drawings and blueprints.
- 4th Axis Milling or CNC Lathe programming is a plus.
- Gain understanding of the different machine tooling types, speeds, and feeds.
