Job Summary: This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and efficiently handling the sale of food, beverages, and merchandise at the brand new Prairie Lakes Ice Arena.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing their questions and concerns.
Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, soft drinks, and other items.
Cash Handling: Handle cash and process transactions accurately, which include operating a cash register, giving change, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Food Safety: Adhere to food safety standards and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Inventory: Monitor and restock concession items as needed, ensuring an adequate supply of products for sale.
Clean-Up and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized concession area, including post-event clean-up and routine maintenance of equipment.
Teamwork: Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Safety: Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of both customers and fellow workers.
Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, especially during peak hours, while maintaining a high level of service quality.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with customers and coworkers, both verbally and through written orders.
Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances, such as sudden rushes of customers or last-minute requests.
