General Laborer

Ballard Asphalt is in search of a hardworking, motivated laborer to join our paving and asphalt maintenance crew. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to lift around 70lbs and work outdoors in hot temperatures around hot machinery and material. Training, tools, and safety equipment will be provided. Employees will be required to learn the various tasks to support daily operations and will be expected to collaborate with the onsite team to complete their task effectively and efficiently. Tasks include but are not limited to:
·      Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
·      Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
·      Distributing material by shovel, rake, squeegee, or broom.
·      Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
·      Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
·      Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
·      Class A or B CDL not required but preferred.
