Clinic LPN

Job Summary

Responsible for the overall flow and safe management of patient care in the clinic, assisting medical providers with patient care. This individual assists medical providers with patient care and skilled in taking patient vital signs, collecting blood and other specimens, and giving vaccinations and injections. This individual will also perform miscellaneous clinic duties in connection with referrals, appointment scheduling, management of patient medical records and maintaining medical and office supplies in the clinic area. 
Essential Job Functions

Room patients and prepare them for examination, treatments and procedures.
Responsible for taking patient vital signs, collecting blood and other specimens, and giving vaccinations and injections.
Performs miscellaneous clinic duties in connection with referrals, appointment scheduling and management of patient medical records.
Provides patients with instructions and education materials.
Maintains medical and office supplies in the clinic area.
Part time hours – 48 hours/2 weeks. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and includes occasional weekend coverage. 
Education, Experience and/or Certification 

Graduate of an accredited professional LPN program 
Current Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license
Current CPR certification or must be able to attain within three months of hire
