About the role:
This position includes a wide variety of responsibilities related to precision ag, and ag inputs. We are looking for someone who can manage a warehouse, manage different plots/test agronomically, and in the fall manage a soil sampling/data management digital platform. Individual will also need to help delivering products and making sure that day to day operations of the business go smoothly.
Responsibilities:
· Complete basic Agronomy Software tasks.
· Operate soil sampling and soil scanning equipment.
· Warehouse Management.
· Understand seed and crop protection. (Herbicides, Fungicides, and Insecticides)
· Plant plots/agronomic trials.
· Build and prepare all things required for soil sampling process.
· Manage customer’s machine data.
· Keep equipment in good working order in warehouse.
· Help with day-to-day activities.
· Communicate necessary information to customers in a professional manner.
· Deal honestly with customers.
Candidate requirements:
· Needs to be a self-motivated individual, and able to complete tasks without supervision.
· Ability to communicate and converse with customers.
· Basic agronomy and understanding of agriculture.
· Basic understanding of precision agronomy software.
· Able to be flexible, and pivot to different projects as needed.
· Ability to keep inventory straight and know where products are in warehouse.
· Desire to learn and improve over time.
· Want an opportunity for long term employment.
