Operations Project Technician – $5,000 Hiring Bonus

A progressive, family owned cattle feeding business.
Adams Land and Cattle has an opportunity for a highly motivated and disciplined individual who enjoys working in a variety of trades, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, GPS, and general construction. This position is located in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
This person will be responsible for:
Providing a broad range of technical support across the business and its locations, including, but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, water, PLC/controls, GPS, and general construction.
Gaining a broad knowledge of the infrastructure and its associated structures and systems throughout the business, noting that several of these items have been internally engineered.
Troubleshooting issues with facilities, equipment, and infrastructure
Completing facility preventative maintenance and repairs while utilizing Manager Plus, the management software used for documenting preventative maintenance and repair work orders.
Maintaining and repairing underground utilities (e.g. water, plumbing, electric).
Maintaining and repairing company housing.
Supporting the project portfolio by completing items on the Operations Project List and the Capital Expenditure List, as well as safety action items.
Cleaning and organizing of project locations, as well as parts/materials/tools storage areas and buildings.
Operating various welding and torch equipment.
Operating equipment, including, but not limited to: skid steer, backhoe, loader, telehandler, excavator, forklift, UTV, and dump truck.
Completing emergency or high priority work which may, on occasion, be outside of normal working hours.
Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Commitment to safety and quality culture.
Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, water, PLC/controls, GPS, and/or general construction skills and experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings. Ability to operate/use the CAD program is a plus.
Experience operating multiple pieces of equipment (see above) is a plus. If no previous experience, willingness to learn is a must.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must work well in team-oriented environment.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Professional and written communication skills.
Ability to complete tasks/projects with minimal supervisor and guidance.
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
This position requires:
Ability to work on-call on an as-needed basis for weekends or off-hours.
Ability and willingness to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment and in adverse weather conditions.
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally; 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently; 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. Extensive walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, and stooping for up to 90% of working hours. Standing for an extended period, such as up to 50% of work hours. Use of electrical equipment, tools, and machinery up to 100% of working hours.
Valid driver’s license.
Compensation Details:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
$5,000 Hiring Bonus
