It’s Time to Register for Senior Tech Day at Lake Area Tech

WATERTOWN, S.D. – High school seniors can explore hands-on, career-focused education during Senior Tech Day at Lake Area Technical College on Feb. 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and parents are welcome to attend.

Students will attend classes, work in labs, tour campus and learn about admissions, financial aid, housing and enrollment steps. Each student will receive a personalized schedule by email before the event.

“Senior Tech Day helps students see what’s possible,” said Scott Carbonneau, Dean of Student Services at Lake Area Technical College. “When they experience our labs and hands-on learning environment, they gain clarity and confidence about their next steps.”

The event highlights Lake Area Tech’s applied learning model, which prepares students for high-demand careers in two years or less. The college is nationally recognized for graduate placement and strong employer partnerships.
