Foundation Scholarships

Lake Area Tech Foundation Scholarships help make college more affordable by connecting generous donors with deserving students. Whether you’re an incoming or returning student, Foundation Scholarships can help reduce educational costs and support your journey toward a successful career.

Important Dates

  • January 1 – March 31: Application window for Foundation and Build Dakota scholarships for the Fall semester.
  • September 1 – October 25: Fall application window for Foundation scholarships to be utilized in the Spring semester.

How to Apply

Students use their LATC MyPortal username with @lakeareatech.edu added (username ex: AB123456@lakeareatech.edu) and MyPortal password to access our comprehensive online application. Note: new students will need to have been accepted into their program before receiving a LATC MyPortal username.

Note: Build Dakota scholars are not eligible for additional Foundation scholarships; however, exceptions may be made if no other qualified applicants are available.
