The Foundation’s annual events support Lake Area Technical College’s infrastructure, students, and programs.
Boulder Memorial Golf Tournament
The 23rd Annual LATC Alumni Boulder Memorial Golf Tournament has been rescheduled to Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Prairie Winds Golf Club (555 S Lake Dr, Watertown, SD). Hosted by the Lake Area Technical College Foundation, the event benefits student scholarships.
Key Event Details
- Check-in: 10:30 a.m. CT
- Calcutta: 11:30 a.m. CT
- Shotgun Start: 12:00 p.m. CT
- Format: Two-person, team stroke play using “Tin Whistle” scoring
Registration & Requirements
- Entry Fee: $200 per 2-person team
- Deadline: Sign up by July 26
- Capacity: Limited to 36 teams on a first-come, first-served basis
- Handicap: A verified GHIN or League Handicap card is required for tournament payouts

Excellence isn’t just who she is; it’s what she helps unlock in others.
She is an Olympian, keynote speaker, excellence architect, mom to Everleigh, and cookie connoisseur.
Sarah doesn’t just talk about overcoming adversity—she hurdled it on the world’s biggest stage. She even raced across deserts, mountains, and international airports on The Amazing Race, proving once again that grit, adaptability, and a little bit of laughter go a long way.
Her mission is to prove that excellence is not exclusive—it’s contagious.

Annual Festival of Trees
Since 2000, the Foundation has hosted the event on the Friday before Thanksgiving. The Festival is a gala event featuring both Silent and Live auctions. Individuals, businesses, and corporations donate beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, holiday ensembles, and other unique items for guests to bid on. Each donation adds to the fun and excitement, making this event a crowd favorite year after year!
