Lake Area Tech Alumni Association 5K Run/Walk
Where: Lake Area Technical College – 1201 Arrow Ave NE, Watertown, SD
When: Saturday, October 3rd
Time: Check in between 8:00am – 8:45am at the Lake Area Tech Student Center; Run/Walk Starts at 9:00am
Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome. Please no pets, roller blades, bicycles, etc.
All Proceeds Benefit the Lake Area Tech Alumni Association
Registration Options:
- $20 Early Bird through September 24 – Includes race-day shirt
- $25 Beginning September 25
- $15 Lake Area Tech Faculty/Staff
- $15 Lake Area Tech Alum
- Free for Current Lake Area Tech Students (promo code required, ID checked)
- Free for children ages 12 and under

Lake Area Technical College Open House
After the Alumni 5K Walk/Run, Lake Area Tech will host a Self-Guided Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests are invited to tour the campus at their own leisure and explore Lake Area Tech’s facilities and learning spaces. Light refreshments will be available.
The open house provides an opportunity for alumni, prospective students, families, community members, and friends of the college to experience the Lake Area Tech campus and see firsthand the facilities that support students in technical education and workforce training.
