Why did you choose Lake Area Tech?
I chose Lake Area Tech because it was the most feasible option for me to take classes while continuing to work full-time to provide for my family.

Watertown School District

What was your favorite thing about Lake Area Tech?
I loved how easy it was to reach out to staff whenever I needed help. Being local also made it easy to come to campus for assistance when needed, even though I completed all of my classes online.

What was the biggest lesson you learned at Lake Area Tech?
Even when things get hard, you have to push yourself — the outcome far outweighs the hardships.

What made you want to continue your education?
My employer at the time encouraged me to continue my education. They saw potential in me, and that support is what motivated me to move forward.

What advice would you give a current Lake Area Tech student?
When everything feels like it’s crumbling, remember there’s always a reason to keep growing. Focus on the positive outcome and keep moving forward.

What makes you proud to be an Alumni of Lake Area Tech?
I love seeing the campus continue to grow and the opportunities Lake Area Tech provides for students.

What advice can you give to Lake Area Tech students that will be entering the workforce?
Work hard and give it your all. You may not be exactly where you want to be right away, but if you keep pushing and putting in the effort, you’ll get there.
