Starting your journey at Lake Area Technical College begins with New Student Orientation—an exciting opportunity to get connected, informed, and prepared for success. During orientation, students are welcomed to campus, introduced to faculty and staff, and guided through important information about academics, student resources, financial aid, technology, and campus life. Program-specific tours and information sessions help students become familiar with their field of study, while parents and family members can learn about the support services available to help students thrive. New Student Orientation is designed to ensure every student starts their Lake Area Tech experience with confidence and a clear path toward achieving their educational and career goals.
