Admission Deadlines

Staying on top of important deadlines can make your admissions process much smoother. While most Lake Area Tech programs accept applications year-round, some programs, scholarships and financial aid opportunities have priority dates you’ll want to keep in mind.

*Note: Some applications may be accepted after the priority deadline if the program does not have a full class. Check with the Admissions Office for enrollment levels after the deadline.

Practical Nursing – On Campus, Full-Time – Fall 2027

  • Application Priority Deadline – February 1, 2027
  • ATI-TEAS test deadline – February 1, 2027
  • Transcripts – February 1, 2027

Practical Nursing – Hybrid, Full-Time – Fall 2027

  • Application Priority Deadline – February 1, 2027
  • ATI-TEAS test deadline – February 1, 2027
  • Transcripts – February 1, 2027

Practical Nursing – Hybrid, Part-Time – Spring 2027

  • Application Priority Deadline – October 1, 2026
  • ATI-TEAS test deadline – October 1, 2026

Registered Nursing – On Campus, Full-Time Fall 2027

  • Application Priority Deadline – March 1, 2027

Registered Nursing – Hybrid, Full-Time Fall 2027

  • Application Priority Deadline – March 1, 2027

Physical Therapist Assistant – Fall 2027

  • Application Priority Deadline – December 15, 2026
  • Applications received on or after the priority deadline will be reviewed for consideration to the wait list. 

Dental Hygiene – Fall 2027

  • The Priority Application window for the 2027 Dental Hygiene program – March 1, 2027

Priority Date for Financial Aid

Since funds under the Work Study and SEOG programs are limited by institution, it is suggested that you apply prior to April 1 by using the FAFSA application. Applications signed before April 1 will be given priority for school-based aid. However, this does not affect eligibility for Pell Grant or the Federal Direct Loan Programs.

Scholarship Deadlines

The deadline for most Lake Area Technical College Foundation Scholarships is March 31. For a list of scholarships and more application information, check out the foundation scholarships page.
