What was your favorite thing about Lake Area Tech?
The hands-on learning and the professors. Every day I felt excited to go to class, and the incredible support and knowledge from my professors made the experience even better. It was easy to see that each professor genuinely enjoyed teaching and connecting with students, providing the best support possible to help us succeed.

The importance of connections, especially when growing a business. Genuine connections help build confidence and open the door to opportunities for success. Through those relationships, you can find new ways to grow your brand and build stronger professional relationships.

What made you want to continue your education?
I wanted to take a vision I had growing up and pursue a career in my passion for photography and storm chasing. Lake Area Tech was the best option for improving my business skillsets, and it was one of the only colleges in the region that included photography education within the program.

Connect with your professors on a daily basis. They truly want you to succeed and are the ultimate support system to help you grow. I am forever grateful for the connections I’ve made through Lake Area Tech — without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Knowing my full potential. I learned so much about myself that I may not have realized otherwise if not for the professors and classmates I had. Everyone built each other up and genuinely wanted to see one another succeed. The support system at Lake Area Tech — during my education and after graduating — is second to none. Not to mention, it’s one of the best technical colleges in the country.

Chase after the goals you have in life. Make the most of every opportunity and don’t let anyone stop you from reaching your full potential, even when times are tough. With the right mindset and passion, you can achieve far more than you think.
