Madison Kopp
Madison Kopp is an Agriculture Instructor in Livestock at Lake Area Technical College. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Animal Science from South Dakota State University.
Madison’s professional experience includes serving as an SDSU Extension Beef Nutrition Field Specialist from 2023 to 2025 and working as the assistant manager at the SDSU Cow-Calf Education and Research Facility during graduate school. She grew up on her family’s cow-calf, feedlot, and row crop operation in northwest Iowa, which shaped her passion for cattle and livestock production.
Madison lives in Watertown with her husband, John, and their cat, Kiko. In her free time, she enjoys fishing year-round, gardening and canning, paddle boarding, and spending time with family and friends—along with pursuing her many hobbies and love for all things cattle.
