Karen Bossman
Karen joined the Lake Area Tech team in August 2016 as an adjunct math, CSS, and leadership instructor. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Dakota State College in Madison, SD, with a double major in Mathematics and Physical Education. Karen’s experience includes teaching in South Dakota at Hurley for eight years, Alcester-Hudson High School for 12 years, and in the Watertown School District for 18 years. In her free time, she loves all sports, especially volleyball, which she still coaches. Karen has a grown son, Jason, who lives in Sioux Falls; three sisters, of which one is her twin, Sharon; and five brothers. Karen grew up in Hartford, SD, and graduated from West Central. She lives in Watertown and loves to be outdoors, cook, bake, and craft.
